Where are you based?
hello rainbow is in Seaford, East Sussex we are based in the Old Town Hall on South Street, next door to the public toilets and opposite the Old Boot Inn courtyard. You can find directions and travel tips on our How to Find Us page.
Do I need to book in advance?
Most of our events are drop-in, but some treatments or workshops may require booking. Each page on our website lists booking details.
Is hello rainbow accessible?
We want everyone to feel welcome and comfortable at hello rainbow. The venue can be accessed by wheelchair users, but please note there is a step at the entrance and the pavement outside is quite narrow, which may make access a little tricky. We’re always happy to help wherever we can, so please do let us know if you’d like any assistance.
What is community acupuncture?
It’s acupuncture in a shared space — several people are treated in the same room at the same time. This allows us to keep costs low, foster a sense of community, and create a calm, shared healing atmosphere. At hello rainbow there are 3 treatment couches separated into individual cubicles with screens.
Do I need to take my clothes off?
No. Points are usually on your arms, legs, and head, so you can remain fully clothed. Just wear loose, comfortable clothing.
Does it hurt?
Most people feel little to no discomfort — just a light sensation when the needles are inserted. Many find it deeply relaxing.
When does it run?
Mondays 2–6pm and Thursdays 1–6pm.
What is Magic Ears?
A simple, gentle five-point ear acupuncture treatment designed to help with relaxation, stress relief, better sleep, and more — all in a calm group setting.
Do I need an appointment?
No — Magic Ears is completely drop-in.
When is it?
Every Friday afternoon.
2 - 3pm - Women Only
3 - 5pm - Open to All (arrive by 4.30pm)
What ages is Play Café for?
It’s best suited for babies, toddlers, and preschool-aged children, but older siblings and adults are welcome too.
Do I need to book?
No — just come along on the day.
What’s included?
Beautiful, natural toys inspired by Montessori and Waldorf philosophies, a cosy play space, and tea, coffee, drinks and snacks are available if you fancy one — no pressure at all, every purchase helps support our friendly community café.
When is it?
Every Monday, 10am–1pm.
What happens at the Community Café?
It’s a friendly, drop-in café serving tea, coffee, and snacks — a space to meet, chat, and enjoy the tradition of our venue as a local tea room.

Do I have to buy something to come?
No — everyone is welcome. Just come and be part of the atmosphere.
How much does it cost?
Our cafés have affordable prices for food and drink. Acupuncture sessions are priced to be accessible — details are on the individual clinic pages.
Community Acupuncture - sliding scale £30 - £60 (concessions £25)
Ear Acupuncture - £15 (concessions £10)
What payment methods do you accept?
Cash and card payments are both accepted.
